Not too many years ago, Seagate sent waves through the storage community when it decided to increase hard drive warranties from one or two all the way up to five years from purchase. It looks like, however, they’re starting to regret that decision, as they’re bringing some models back down to three years worth of service starting January 3rd, 2009.

with SUSE Linux.
Clearly unhappy with all the praise ATI has been getting of late, NVIDIA is apparently prepping to strike back with a dual card of their own. Destined to compete with ATI’s flagship Radeon HD4870X2 (which uses two 4870 chips on one board), the GTX295 will use two 55nm GTX200 series GPUs on fully two printed circuit boards, creating one monstrous graphics card.
